Dogtooth Calcite Specimen #2

A wonderful brown dogtooth calcite specimen from the Buena Tierra mine in Santa Eulalia, Mexico. Dogtooth calcite gets it's name from it's similarity to the sharp teeth of a dog. It is formed in open spaces where calcite precipitates from mineral-rich water.
